Unit 14: Event Driven Programming - Lesson 1

This first week will be used to explain the content of the three units, and how they will be delivered and assessed. A start will then be made on explaining software development in general.

  • 10 min Demonstrate creating an event driven windows application. Demonstrate taking a screen shot of the IDE and pasting it into a new word document.
  • 10 min Demonstrate using the toolbox and dragging and dropping gui controls onto the form. Demonstrate taking a screen shot of the toolbox, controls and properties and pasting them into a new word document.
  • 10 min Demonstrate creating a simple website and creating a simple web page with headers, footers, headings sections and content.
  • 10 min Demonstrate adding headers, footers and contents page to the word document.
